Stage Audio Works holds d&b Line Array Training Workshop
On the 24th and 25th of July Stage Audio Works successful held their third d&b Line Array training workshop this year. These regular workshops have become a way for Stage Audio Works to share their knowledge of the equipment and the industry with eager attendees.
The aroma of freshly brewed coffee and light snacks greeted the attendees on the morning of the 24th, and the attending people were introduced to Stage Audio Works through a quick tour of the offices and surrounding features. The Stage Plus Factory and Engineering department were showcased to pique the curiosity of the eager attendees.
The course itself was headed up by Gustav Barnard, Nathan Ihlenfeldt and Burton Reid. At around 10 o’clock these seasoned members of the Stage Audio Works’ team began imparting their own knowledge of d&b Line Array systems giving a strong theoretical base for the more hands on application to proceed the following day.
If anything, years of experience has taught the team at Stage Audio Works that theoretical knowledge is nothing without a good hands-on application of the equipment. Day two allowed time for this important facet of the training and a practical rigging session was held to put some of the theory into practice.
The attendees were offered a comprehensive look at the ins-and-outs of Line Array systems and the d&b ArrayCalc simulation tool.
At the end of the second day, the workshop was a resounding success and the attendees left with a new and more detailed understanding of d&b Line Array systems. Not only was the content spot on, but the attendees also commented how fun and informative the two days was.
For some, it was just a pity that it only lasted two short days.
