Join us as we join forces with d&b audiotechnik, Yamaha and Sennheiser to present South Africa’s most comprehensive Live Mixing Workshop.
This workshop is a unique opportunity for sound engineers to participate in a practical workshop in a live environment and learn how to overcome specific audio challenges in a hands-on manner while being mentored by some of the leading minds in the global audio industry.

Janko Ramuscak, Senior Consultant (Education & Application Support)
Janko Ramuscak, 43, is a senior engineer with the d&b audiotechnik’s Education and Application Support team at the company’s HQ in Backnang, Germany. Janko joined d&b in 2008 after achieving an engineering degree in Media Technology and with over a decade of experience in mobile, broadcast and movie audio, as a mixer, system engineer and recordist. As much as his time allows, he continues his freelance work to this day to stay in close touch with the application. At d&b, some of his main responsibilities lie in being a liaison between Application Support, Product Management and R&D. As such, he has provided support and user training for many first deployments of recent d&b products and technologies, such as ArrayProcessing, Dante and the SL-Series with rental houses, installations and major tourings production across the globe. Like Oliver, Janko is a veteran of the Live Mixing Workshop, being in charge of overall organisation for d&b since 2008.
Oliver Voges, Live & Studio Engineer
Oliver has been touring as a guitar player with his band since age 14. After finishing his audio engineer diploma in 1994 he began working for different sound reinforcement companies and studios and toured worldwide with artists such as Faith No More, Deftones, Tangerine Dream, David Copperfield, Sarah Brightmann, Naturally Seven, Scooter, Fettes Brot, Casper, Kool Savas to name a few. He has mixed live shows on some of the biggest stages and festivals in the world including Donington Monsters of Rock, Rock am Ring, Rock im Park, Hurricane, Southside & Highfield Festivals, Lollapalooza Festival, Wacken Open Air, Montreux Jazz Festival.
Since 2002 Oliver has been the FoH engineer for the german Echo Awards and he mixed the Eurovision Song Contest in 2011. He also has his hands on many other TV shows such as The DOME, Bravo Super Show, Bambi and MTV Music Awards. In 2003 Oliver was one of the founders of the „Live Mixing Workshop“ who is travelling the world since then.
