On the 10th of March 2019, 22 cyclists from the Hillsong Africa Foundation (HAF) set out to ride the Cape Town Cycle Tour with the goal of raising funds for their first ever Gugulethu Innovation Hub! With the vision to create a state-of-the-art space that accommodates a premium experience where families are strengthened and young people can be equipped to connect to the local and global economy.

“A few months ago we had an idea of entering the Cycle Tour as a charity and ride to raise funds for our very first Innovation Hub in Gugulethu.” explained Brent James of Hillsong Africa Foundation. “To help make this happen we approached a few companies to enquire if they would be willing to partner with us. Our very first confirmed partner was Stage Audio Works and their contribution to the Hillsong Africa Foundation team assisted us in achieving this mammoth task of putting a team together to raise funds. We would once again like to thank the Stage Audio Works team for being part of our Cape Town Cycle Tour journey.”

Not only did the front runners of the HAF Cycling team complete the 109km race in an incredible 4:32 hours but together the team managed to reach their goal and raised a phenomenal R160 000.00!

We are so proud to have been part of this initiative as a sponsor for such a great team with such a great vision.
