As 2026 begins, Stage Audio Works (SAW) proudly reflects on a year of innovation, education and partnership milestones achieved throughout 2025. With the events industry continuing its vibrant resurgence, SAW is ready to deliver even greater technological excellence and service to clients across Africa and the Middle East in 2026, with a renewed commitment to bringing special moments to life through technology.
In 2025, SAW reaffirmed its role as an industry leader in the supply, integration and manufacture of technology solutions through a series of educational initiatives, showcase events and partnerships. From a dedicated Technology Showcase, which brought together the events community around a shared passion for great tech, to Yamaha Audioversity and d&b audiotechnik educational workshops and product launch events, SAW will continue to build on this momentum in 2026. SAW also strengthened its technology ecosystem through the cultivation of key partnerships, including an exclusive distribution agreement for Waves’ eMotion LV1 Classic ecosystem in South Africa.
Driven by a commitment to providing clients with the highest-quality products and faster delivery, the company also expanded its in-house production capacity through several new additions, including a direct-to-material printer, a new CNC machine, an aluminium extrusion rolling machine and a dedicated Embroidery machine. These developments bring more processes under one roof, enhancing quality control, efficiency and creative flexibility across all SAW manufacturing lines.
From AV installations at world-class performance venues to major live productions, Stage Audio Works supported numerous success stories throughout 2025. SAW group brand, Plus Audio, took centre stage at several high-profile events, including Red Bull Symphonic and Born to Perform in Johannesburg, strengthening the brand’s reputation as an industry-leading solution. Several production companies have also invested in the Plus Audio brand in 2025, including Multi-Media and CONSO AV, whilst Norwood Productions took a major step forward with the purchase of d&b audiotechnik V-series supplied by Stage Audio Works. In Mauritius, SAW provided consultancy and supplied the prestigious Caudan Arts Centre with a new Yamaha DM7 mixing console, helping the venue to enhance its world-class production capabilities.
As the live events and AV industry continues to grow post-pandemic, Stage Audio Works welcomes 2026 with a renewed dedication to customer-centric service, technical innovation and strong partnerships. The company remains committed to providing state-of-the-art technology solutions, comprehensive training and support, and the professional excellence that characterises the SAW experience.
“2025 was a year of incredible progress and collaboration across every sector we serve,” says Gustav Barnard, COO at Stage Audio Works. “As we enter 2026, our focus is on deepening our relationships with clients and partners, expanding our product offering of both our own brands and leading brands, and continuing to push the boundaries of what’s possible in the world of audio, video and lighting technology.”
